Australia’s Telehealth Response to COVID-19
The Centre for Online Health is one of the world’s leading academic centres responsible for telehealth research, service delivery and education. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic which has resulted in significant disruption to our way of living, how we interact and access services, it is important to understand how telehealth is being used to deliver health care. In Australia, like many countries around the world, the uptake of telehealth has grown exponentially. This presentation will provide a snapshot of telehealth activity in Australia and describe some of the challenges and opportunities which now face our health system.
